Buckleberry is Judith Marquis little tribute to Baby Prince George! This sweet little bear has areas just begging for embellishment that should satisfy your every desire to create, whether it is to smock, embroider quilt or treat with heirloom laces and Swiss embroideries. There are so many ways to make him dependent only on the amount of time you have to spend. He is approxmately 8 inches tall in his sitting position or approximately 12 inches tall standing but he is very easily enlarged to suit your wishes.
Buckleberry can be made in most any fabric from woven fabrics to knits to faux suede or fur. Just let your imagination go wild. Whether this is for a child or a bear collector or yourself, you are bound to have fun creating and developing his personality.
He will probably look a little chubbier when made from a knit fabric as it tends to stretch a bit with stuffing. But that only makes him more cuddly and huggable!
